What was the problem?
Tracking medicines from production to the patient is critical for fighting counterfeit and smuggled drugs, managing recalls and securing reimbursement. This requires every medicine pack to be uniquely identified and that identity to be traceable throughout the supply chain.
How was it solved?
Magno Bilişim built a web-based interface for the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy in which medicines are serialized and tracked with data matrix codes. The data matrix code carries information unique to each pack so it can be identified individually, and the web-based interface allows these records to be tracked.
