Custom software

Software built around your organization's processes: from analysis to go-live

Instead of bending your processes to fit an off-the-shelf package, we analyze your business first and design software around how your organization, teams and stakeholders really work.

Every organization works in its own way: approval chains, roles and permissions, handovers between stakeholders, regulatory requirements and internal rules built up over years. Off-the-shelf software often cannot accommodate these differences, so the organization either bends its process to the software or ends up with parallel processes running outside it on spreadsheets, email and paper.

Magno Bilişim starts custom software projects with business analysis, not code. We map the current process with stakeholders, identify bottlenecks and repetitive manual work, design the target process together with the organization, and build the software to that design. The software we built for TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, Avea, the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy, OYAK and Türk Telekom is the product of this approach.

Why custom

Why custom software instead of an off-the-shelf package?

Software that fits the process

The software is designed around the organization's real workflow, approval chain and role structure; users are not forced into a new way of working.

Multi-stakeholder structures

Different stakeholders such as warehouses, project groups, subcontractors, dealers and field teams work on the same platform with their own permissions.

An end to parallel processes

Work run on spreadsheets, email threads and paper forms is brought into a single system, and information is managed from a single source.

Fit with existing systems

The software is designed to work with the organization's existing applications and its identity verification and e-signature infrastructure.

Approach

Our analysis and solution approach

  1. Current state analysis: Stakeholder interviews and on-site observation map the current process end to end, answering who works at which step, with what information and which tools. Bottlenecks, sources of error and repetitive manual work become visible.
  2. Target process design: Together with the organization, we define the target process, role and permission model, approval flows and reporting needs. Regulatory and internal audit requirements are built into the design at this stage.
  3. Solution architecture: The data model, integration points and user screens are designed; where needed, a prototype gathers early feedback from users.
  4. Development and integration: The software is built in stages and integrated with the organization's existing systems; each stage moves forward with user acceptance.
  5. Go-live and support: After user acceptance testing, training and go-live, the software continues to be developed and supported as the organization's needs change.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does a custom software development project start?

At Magno Bilişim, custom software projects start with business analysis: the current process is mapped end to end through stakeholder interviews, bottlenecks and manual work are identified, and the target process and role and permission model are designed together with the organization. The software is then built to that design.

Why choose custom software over an off-the-shelf package?

When an organization's approval chains, role structure, stakeholders and regulatory requirements cannot be met by a packaged product, it either bends its process to the software or ends up with parallel processes on spreadsheets and email. Custom software removes these problems because it is designed around the real workflow.

What kinds of enterprise software has Magno Bilişim built?

Magno Bilişim built demand and order management for Türk Telekom, rental unit work management (PerSys) and indoor coverage request management (İBS) for Avea, inventory and material request management for TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, a data matrix drug tracking interface for the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy, and a corporate portal with a content management system for OYAK.

Can custom software integrate with our existing systems?

Yes. Integration points are identified during analysis and the software is designed to work alongside the organization's existing applications. Where needed, chip ID verification, remote identity verification and biometric signature are embedded with Magno ID, Magno Live and Magno Sign.

What does the organization receive at the end of the analysis phase?

The main outputs are current and target process maps, a role, permission and approval flow matrix, a data model and integration inventory, screen and report designs, and user acceptance criteria.
